For each <a href=\"https:\/\/thelifeofclothes.com\/en\/create-your-own-personal-style-in-5-steps\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/thelifeofclothes.com\/creare-il-proprio-stile-personale-5-passaggi\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">style<\/a> and each physicality, only a few of what are usually called the basic garments may be chosen. Those who do not like jeans, for example, will simply fall back on another type of pants, or skirts&#8230; the important thing, however, is to be clear that the easiest way to have a wardrobe that is are basic garments?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>It is those items of clothing that form the background, the base in fact, of any properly functioning wardrobe.<\/p>\n\n<p>We can think of them as the connective tissue that allows the most original garments with the most character not to steal each other&#8217;s thunder, the most ordinary ones to always have something to match, that allows a sequin skirt to be used for daytime, a lime green sweater not to be too loud, that allows us to dress up in the morning by creating tested combinations, to which we only need to add a few original touches to imprint them with our personality and style.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_tell_if_a_garment_is_basic_or_not\"><\/span>How to tell if a garment is basic or not?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>A basic garment is by definition simple, undecorated, possibly in a neutral color or one that blends easily with others.<\/p>\n\n<p>A T-shirt with lettering and designs is not basic; a white, or black, or gray, or mariniere-striped T-shirt is.<\/p>\n\n<p>A shirt with embroidery or optical prints is not basic; a white or blue shirt is basic.<\/p>\n\n<p>Of course, precisely because they are simple and predictable, basics are at their best when they are of good quality, good cut, in a nice fabric. You don&#8217;t need high-fashion brands, but a quality natural fabric, well-made seams, and a cut that falls well are indispensable.<\/p>\n\n<p>To go back to our white T-shirt, if the collar is slabby, the fabric semi-transparent, the sleeves badly cut, there is no fancy dress to wear it with that I will be able to lift the outfit; if, on the other hand, it is made of good heavy cotton, with double stitching on the collar, with a good cut, it will make even the simplest of jeans (which by the way, are another basic garment) look elegant.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"So_what_are_the_basics_for_autumn_winter\"><\/span>So what are the basics for autumn winter?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"White_T-shirt\"><\/span>White T-shirt<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p>It&#8217;s fine in other colors too (black, gray, blue, striped), but the white one is really a passepartout, giving a modern touch even when it comes out only a few inches from the neck of a shirt or out of pants.
